Straight A Luncheon
Each year in May the Kiwanis Club of the Azalea City holds a Luncheon and Awards Program for local Middle School Students who achieved Straight As for the entire year. Students who have been diligent enough to achieve Straight A's for all three years of middle school receive a check for $100 from the club and a Plaque honoring their achievement.
In 2018, Seventy-six students achieved straight A's for the entire year. Seven of which made straight A's all three years and received a plaque and $100 check from the club. This year's 3-year recipients were:
